Benson Vineyards Estate Winery is family owned and operated, located on the bountiful north shore of Lake Chelan.

The vineyards were planted in 2002 on sandy loam soils, overlooking the pristine waters. Paul & Kathy Benson (mom and dad) fell in love with Lake Chelan while vacationing with their two son's Scott & Jeff in the late 1970's.

In the late 1800's, Michael Horan came to the Wenatchee Valley and homesteaded at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers. He was initially in the dairy business until establishing a pear orchard in the rich, fertile soil of the confluence. In the early 1900's Michael built the Horan House, now listed in the Washington Historical Register. It was in this home that Michael's great-grandson, Doug McDougall, (the winemaker for Horan Estates Winery) was raised until venturing off to college in the mid 1960's to follow the family farming tradition.

Trying to weather the economic ups and downs of apple farming, Doug decided to diversify and planted  grapes near Royal City, Washington. That turned out to be a smart move as the area soon became recognized as ideal for wine grapes and is now part of the Columbia Valley appellation. When other winemakers praised the high quality of grapes produced from the vineyard, Doug, along with his wife Diana and friends Ross and Kelly Riedinger, decided to start a small winery.

Malaga Springs Winery is a very small craft winery located at the base of the colossal basalt cliffs south of Malaga, WA. The area is named after a grape brought over from the Malaga district of Spain to supply the railroad workers when the railroad was being pushed through the Cascades in the late 1800's. Judi and Mike, Martin and Scott, have been Marriage partners, parents, and business associates since the mid ‘60’s. The M-S concept has grown from part time to full time. Wine making has been a vehicle of change in our life. The initial thought was to keep it simple. However that principle was soon violated with the addition of a real winery, a multi-varietal vineyard (28-currently), landscaping, and an enlarged patio looking to the Columbia River, Stemilt Basin and Mission Ridge for summer gathering of up to 60 diners.

Presently, we produce +1,400 cases annually, made up of small lots of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, and Viognier on the white side. Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet, Malbec, Zinfandel and Sangiovese in the red varietals. And, of course, a blend or two, or three.

Located in the Cascade Mountain foothills, five miles east of Leavenworth, Wedge Mountain Winery is part of a family orchard business known locally as Riverbend Ranch, owned by Charles and Mary Ann McKee since 1976.

Struggling to make a living growing apples and pears in the mid-90's, they decided to diversify into growing wine grapes and opening a winery. Thirteen vines were planted in 1999, today over 2,000 vines of eight different varieties are growing in their vineyards.

Charlie, the winemaker, is dedicated to the development of small quantities of premium wines. Hand-crafted in the truest sense of the word, the wines are a "labor of love" from the growing of the grape to the bottling of the wine. "Winemaking has always been a part of our lives" according to Charlie. As a young Marine stationed in Naples, Italy during the mid-fifties, Charlie learned about winemaking from local farmers and winemakers. Over the years he perfected his style of winemaking, and as an engineer, traveled in Europe's great viticultural areas, always inquiring and trying new ideas
